fungal attack and resultant odors throughout the useful
life of the sponge.
Environment - Nylonge has been a good neighbor
to many homes and businesses it shares space with on
Lowell Street in Elyria. As a manufacturer who cares
about the community, Nylonge has committed millions
of dollars along with years of time and engineering
to create environmental systems that monitor, control,
and contain our chemical processes. In addition, these
systems control emissions or odors which could cause
a neighborhood nuisance.
Since the initial construction of the Nylonge facility
in Elyria, Ohio, Nylonge has installed a 150,000 gallon
per day comprehensive wastewater pretreatment system
and pioneered the development of a biological air
emission treatment system which is unique in the industry.
Nylonge recently installed additional
Bioway
Scrubber Towers increasing by 50% its air emission
treatment capacity, to even better treat its air emission
and substantially exceed current EPA regulations for
